William “Will” Dennis Pace, 57, of Statesville, N.C., died May 20, 2024, at his home.

Born in Phoenix, Ariz., on July 31,1966, he was the eldest son of Melva (Kaye) Cravens Blanchard, who survives.

He was a truck driver and a self-taught handyman who enjoyed building, creating things, action movies, classic cars, and had a great sense of humor. His heart of gold always led him to put everyone else’s needs before his own.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna Dunstan Pace, with whom he spent 35 years. Also surviving are a son, Joshua Alan Pace (girlfriend Amya Boller); sister, Dawn Pace; and three brothers, Rob, Mike, and Brad Blanchard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Gardens with close friend Kenton Karriker and Pastor James Lewis officiating.
