Mr. William Edward Shepard Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on December 25, 1964, and was the son of William Edward Shepard Sr. and the late Carolyn Morrison Shepard. He was married to Teresa White Shepard, who survives.

Mr. Shepard passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont. Bishop Glenn J. Usry is Pastor and Rev. Tim Stevenson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.

Mr. Shepard will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home until taken to Christian Outreach of the Piedmont) to lie in state at 1 p.m. Members of the family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of his mother-in-law at 117 Imes Court, Statesville, at other times.

Rutledge and Bigham is serving the Shepard family.
