William Franklin “Bill” Singletary III, 60 of Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday, June 15, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Fort Myers, Fla., to the late William F. Singletary Jr. and Julia Richardson Singletary.
Bill was a concrete truck driver by trade. He loved to go fishing, and hike waterfalls. He loved genealogy and was an avid reader, especially loving to read about the Vikings. Bill loved animals and watching NFL football. He was a family man and loved his family, being especially close to his father.
Those left to cherish his memory include four sisters, Rebecca Singletary Starnes, Alicia Singletary Grinavic, Wendy Singletary Hancock, and Buffy Rousey; his cats, Freya and Sif; and many friends who loved him dearly and affectionately called him “Trace.”
At his request, there will be no formal services; instead, remember the great times spent with him.
