Anna Ball Hemric LeClear, 84, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Anna was born November 20, 1940, in Wilkes County, the daughter of the late Merlin Ball and Ila Bell Pendergrass Ball. She was a beautician during her working career and a faithful member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Wilkes County for over 20 years. She loved and adored her poodle, Daisy, and she loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Hemric and Bill LeClear.

Those left to cherish and honor Anna’s memories include her daughter, Tamera Renzo of Arizona; her son, Todd Hemric of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Talia Renzo and Michael Clyde Renzo; her sisters, Novella Miller (John) of Taylorsville, Odessa Treadway (Gerald) of Moravian Falls, and Debbie Childers (Craig) of Taylorsville; her brothers, William Ball of Hiddenite and Frank Ball (Tammy) of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Old Cherry Grove Baptist Church on Oak Ridge Farm Road in Wilkes County. Pastor Tim McCann and Preacher Stan Hostetter will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home.
