Brittany Lynn Bates, 34, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her home. She was born January 29, 1991, in Glen Burnie, Md., the daughter of Harold Gaither Bates Jr. and the late Susan Hornyak Bates.

Brittany had worked for River Oaks Nursing Home in Florida before moving to North Carolina. She loved her cat Noodle and loved the Baltimore Ravens. She was a loving sister and daughter.

In adition to her father, those left to cherish and honor Brittany’s memories include her sister, Sarah Easton of Taylorsville; her brother, Nichlos Easton of Kentucky; and her nephews, Zackary Munz, Michael Munz, Andrew Whatley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
