Cathy Dianne West, 60, of Statesville, N.C., passed away February 25, 2025, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville, N.C., following a brief illness. She was born in Iredell County on November 22, 1964, to the late James Calvin West Sr. and Martha Jean Cloer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Martin; one brother, Jerry Wayne West; and one nephew, Gary Lee Whorley.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeannie West and Misty Redmon (Anthony), both of Statesville; three brothers, Roger West (Rebecca) of Troutman, Ricky West (Kim) of Statesville, and James Calvin (Rebecca) of Statesville; one sister, Elaine Bulsiewicz (Steve) of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Crystal Lippard (Isiah), Dakota Lippard, and Kuvira Redmon; and one great-granddaughter, Jasmine Knox.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Pastor Dale Grider will officiate. Burial will follow at Stony Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Roger West, Anthony Redmon, Jamie Stewart, Chrystian Stewart, Dakota Lippard, Isiah Knox and Austin West.
