Timothy Chadwick Frazier, 52, of Statesville, N.C., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Chad was born on October 8, 1972, to Jessie Rose (Clendenin) Frazier and Ralph Perkins “Perky” Frazier. Chad was special needs and was cared for his entire life by his parents, sister, and a host of special caregivers over the years.
Chad loved music and watching movies. He was never without his favorite radio. Chad loved Jesus and he attended New Salem United Methodist Church most of his life. In the last years of his life, Chad attended Western Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Just As I Am Sunday School Class.
Chad was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents, James Edward “Paw Ed” Clendenin and Jessie Padgett Clendenin; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lois Frazier; and two uncles, Jerry Frazier and Ronald Sharp.
Chad is survived by his parents, Rose and Ralph Frazier; his sister Joy Murphy; brother-in-law, Michael “Mike” Murphy; niece, Lauren Murphy; nephew, James Murphy; aunts, Vicky Frazier and Pat Sharpe; and his Frazier and Clendenin family cousins.
A service celebrating the life of Chad will be held at Western Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, February 1, at 2 p.m., officiated by Dr. Andy Lackey and Dr. Jeff Spry. Burial will follow at New Salem UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Iredell County for their excellent support during Chad’s final days.
