Chadwick Oscar Parker, 56, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 peacefully surrounded by loved ones in his hometown of Mooresville, N.C.

He was born August 23, 1968, to Carolyn and Bill Parker. Chad was a proud resident of Mooresville. He worked for 35 years at Duke Energy. Chad was the comedic relief in any situation; he always had a pocket full of jokes and pranks. He will always be remembered as a giver. He was incredibly thoughtful and exceedingly generous and always tried to care for the people he loved.

He is survived by his two daughters, Madison Parker and Olivia Dison; as well as his brother, Billy Parker who he loved fiercely, along with so many of his childhood friends.

He has fought a long, hard battle and we are at peace knowing he’s in the stars looking over all of us. We will long for his presence for years to come, but he’s free and at peace now. This isn’t goodbye; just see you later, baby.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Parker family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.
