Chris Rix, 57, of Granite Falls, N.C., passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Chris was born om October 10, 1967, in Middletown, N.Y., the son of the late Albert Karl Rix and Maria Lanser Rix.

Being a personal trainer was his passion in life. Chris enjoyed helping people become the best version of themselves. He loved his car, his orange Mustang, and taking care of his land and his beloved horse Foxy.

Those left to cherish and honor Chris’s memories include his daughter, Madelyn Kristina Rix of Granite Falls, and a grandson on the way; and his sisters, Jeanette Rix and Susan Rix Kowalczik, both of Middletown, N.Y.

A Service in honor of Chris’s Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bill Orren will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
