Clyde “Toe” Chapman, 91, of Stony Point, N.C., passed away February 3, 2025, at Taylorsville House following an extended illness. Clyde was born November 17, 1933, in Alexander County to the late Dave Chapman and Reba Maes Chapman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Goo Chapman, Archie Chapman, and Bill Chapman, as well as one sister, Jean Lambert, and one grandson, Robert Chapman.

Survivors include one son, Jeffery Lynn Chapman of Stony Point; one daughter, Georgeina Chapman, and wife Jamie of Statesville; one brother, Joe Chapman of Stony Point; two sisters, Judy Payne and husband Phil of Stony Point, and Red Timberlake and husband Ed; and one grandchild, Johnny Lynn Chapman.

Services will be announced at a later date.
