Mr. Conrad Allison, 62, of 1200 North Ninth Street, Statesville, N.C., was born in Iredell County on October 22, 1962, and was the son of the late Henderson Crosby and Lois Virginia Allison Crosby. He departed this life at his home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

He attended Statesville High School and completed Job Corp in Albany, Ga., in 1980 becoming a certified welder. At an early age, he was baptized at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church. His hobbies including playing and watching baseball, and he was a 49ers fan.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his daughter, Latasha “Tasha” Ramseur of Statesville; two grandchildren, Quintin Blackmon and Angelo Ramseur, both of Statesville; one brother, Earl (Lisa) Crosby of Statesville; three sisters, Pastor Doris Allison, Vanessa Allison Nunn and Bobby Crosby, all of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Greater Praise Ministries in Statesville, N.C. Co-Pastor Keisha Minor Carr will officiate and Bishop John Carr will eulogize with burial to follow in the Belmont Cemetery.

Mr. Allison will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home until taken to the church to lie in state at 1 p.m. Members of the family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2 p.m. (thirty minutes prior to the funeral home), but will assemble at the residence at other times.
