Curtis Dwayne Sherrill, 63, of Troutman, N.C., passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Burke Assisted Living in Morganton, N.C.
He was born in Iredell County on September 28, 1961, to the late Robert Franklin Sherrill and Patsy Nesbit Medlin.
Curtis was a graduate of South Iredell High School, and prior to declining health he was a member of Mountain Road Baptist Church. He was former owner of Rogers Well and Pump Repair and prior to retirement he was a truck driver for USF Holland.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife and caretaker, Traci Campbell Sherrill; daughter, Courtney Baker (Brian); brother, Ronnie Sherrill (Linda); sisters, Crystal Lail (Charles) and Renee Medlin (Jerry); granddaughters, Kara Baker and Carmen Davisson; grandson, Lucas Baker; and father-in-law, Robert Lee Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Roy Medlin.
No formal services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Curtis to a Hospice House of your choice.

I thought a lot of Curtis !! I can’t think of any time that I called Curtis and he didn’t come. He kept the well pump going at the garage. I can easily say job well done here on earth Curtis !! Prayers for Ronnie and the Sherrill Family!! Rest In Peace My Friend !!
