David J. Orlandi, 87, of Hickory, N.C., passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home. He was born August 16, 1937, in Jerome, Pa., the son of the late James Orlandi and Totina Bassetti Orlandi.

David worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 30 years and was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid golfer and a member of Brushy Mountain Golf Club. He loved to play the accordion, and spent his retirement years playing for nursing homes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Kuncher Orlandi; his son, David Alan Orlandi; and his sisters, Victoria Koval and Virgina Hedberg.

Those left to cherish and honor David’s memories include his daughter, Debbie DuBois (Kenny) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Michelle Hall and Ron Myers, both of Hickory; his great-grandchildren, Angel Myers, Destiny Queen, Taylor Hall, Dylan Nall, and Kaleb Myers; and his great-great-grandchildren, Emory Ballentine and Hadley Ballentine.
