Denny Ray Woodward, 73, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. Born August 19, 1951, in Cabarrus County, N.C., he was a son of the late Parnell Woodward and Colleen Gurley Woodward.

Denny was a retired procedure writer for Duke Energy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Denny is survived by his fiancée, Patsy McKheean; son, Scott Woodward; brothers, Danny, and his wife Patty, Sonny and his wife Monica, and Lynn and his wife Melissa.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 8, 2025, at 3 p.m. at First Reformed Church in Landis, N.C.

All memorials go to First Reformed Church Western North Carolina Mountains Mission.
