Donald Earl Riddle, 76, of Troutman, N.C., passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle, N.C.

Donald was born in Wake County, N.C., on August 15, 1948, to the late Thomas Peyton Riddle and Mary Lucille Eason Riddle.

He was a graduate of Garner High School, and he served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from American Stainless Tubing Inc. His hobbies included fishing and watching NFL.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Margaret Campbell Riddle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Donna Louise Riddle and Robin Denise Riddle, both of Troutman.

Funeral services will be held at Troutman Funeral Home at a later date and will be announced when finalized. Rev. Welsey Morris will be officiating. Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral costs.
