Lisa Idol Swinson, 62, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her residence with her beloved husband of 28 years, Lloyd, and her grandson Thomas, who had taken loving care of her during her illness, by her side.

She was born on January 10, 1963, in Kings Mountain, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Idol and Linda Whitmore Russ.

Lisa was always the beauty of the family with a big heart. She was always there when you needed her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Chrisy Idol; sister, Julie Idol; and father-in-law, Bud Swinson.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Lloyd Swinson; grandson, Thomas Foster; granddaughter, Rashelle Betty; brother, Lloyd Idol; sisters, Annette McCombs, Patty Lewis and Amanda Howard; and mother-in-law, Diane Swinson.

A memorial service will be announced later.
