A memorial service for Glenn and Helen Wyatt will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, N.C., with Gene Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Glenn and Helen were married on March 19, 1964. Glenn attended Cool Springs High School and went on to work as a maintenance supervisor at Thomasville Furniture in Statesville. Helen attended Statesville Senior High School and worked as a self-employed hairdresser.

Glenn and Helen both especially loved family get-togethers and visiting the North Carolina mountains. Glenn enjoyed reading, playing golf and going fishing, while Helen enjoyed gardening and working outside.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Virginia Wyatt; and sister, Rhonda Jolly (Ralph). Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Beulah Nantz; and sisters, Sue Phillips (Fred), Annie Waters (Marvin), Martha Sloan (JD), and Elizabeth Holler.

Glenn and Helen are survived by their son, Darrell Wyatt Jr. (Dora) of Mooresville; daughter, Sherry Wyatt of Statesville; grandchildren, Josh Brown (Holly) of Mebane, Christopher Brown of Wilkesboro, and Samantha Osbourne (Eric) of Winston-Salem; Helen’s sister, Alice Benfield (Tom) of Statesville; and many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
