Grace Ann Pfahler O’Brien, 84 of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

She was born on September 22, 1940, in New Jersey to the late John and Catherine Lotz Pfahler.

Grace loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and her friends. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Patrick O’Brien; and sister, Carol Houghton.

Those left to cherish Grace’s memory are her children, Keith Heilner (Karen) of Pennsylvania, Cathleen Bajek (Jon) of Troutman, N.C., and Susan Kaintz (William) of Concord, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held by the family.
