Mr. Jerry Dale Wilkins, 73, of 1319 7th Street, Statesville, N.C., passed away at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville on Saturday, April 19, 2025, following an extended illness. He was born in Iredell County on June 19, 1951, and was the son of the late John Wesley Morrison and Willie Mae Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a child, Lisa Wilkins; and siblings, Lucille Parks, Edna Yancey and Mearlene Morrison.

Jerry attended the Iredell County Schools and was employed by Byers Moving Company for several years.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his children, Amber Wilkins, Joshua Wilkins, and Joriah Graham; his siblings, John Morrison (Margart), Ronnie Morrison, Andrew Morrison (Pam), Pearlene Harris, Willie Morrison, and Mamie Parks; a special niece, Edna Parks; a special friend, Lula Simpson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
