John Scott Campbell, 72, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House. He was born April 25, 1952, in Mooresville to the late George Alexander Campbell and Marjorie Day Campbell.
John worked at Bay State Milling Company for over 45 years. He was a shipping superintendent. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School and Central Piedmont College. He loved Duke basketball. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, riding his Harley Davidson, the beach, and his gun collection.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Ebert Campbell; sons, James “Jimmy” Campbell and Patrick Scott Campbell (Michelle); siblings, Dee Anna Overcash, Mitchell Campbell (Gail), Janet Campbell, and Keith Campbell (Rhonda); and granddaughters Addison Campbell and Myah Campbell.
There are no services planned at this time.
