Julie Ann Baldwin, 63, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on February 23, 2025, after a long battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver.

She was born in Caribou, Maine, and raised in Hampton, Va., before moving to North Carolina in 1984. Julie was a woman of many talents and passions. Throughout her life, she pursued various careers, including work in children’s daycare, criminal justice, photography, and most notably as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Her dedication to helping others was evident in all that she did.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, and friend who cherished time spent with loved ones. Julie found joy in music, dancing, and laughter. She especially loved visiting the beach and the mountains — places that brought her peace and happiness. A woman of faith, she attended The Cove Church in Mooresville, N.C.

Julie is survived by her daughters, Dawn Smith and Tiffany Beam; and her beloved grandson, Zane Beam.

A service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, at The Cove Church in Mooresville, N.C.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
