Kenneth Braswell Jr., 76, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Valley Nursing Center. He was born May 22, 1948, in Alexander County, the son of the late Rev. Kenneth Braswell Sr. and Margie Carolyn Whisenant Braswell.

Kenneth worked in the furniture industry and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed painting and farm animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Debbie Edgison Braswell; and a brother, Ronald Braswell.

Those left to cherish and honor Kenneth’s memories include his sisters, Iris Auton of Taylorsville, and Elaine Kerley (Bruce) of Taylorsville; his brother, Stewart Braswell (Leslie) of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. A family graveside service will follow in the Linney’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. James Smith will officiate.
