Linda Odean Galliher Hager, 78, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

She was born March 13, 1946, in Iredell County to the late Flake Cecil Galliher and Virginia Binkley Galliher. Linda attended Cool Springs Schools. In her younger days, she worked in the textile mills in Mooresville and later spent nearly 20 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake Norman Fire Department.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby” Wayne Hager; and four siblings, Judy Sharpe, Larry Galliher, Hilda G. Inscoe and Bobby Jean Galliher.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Gay Nell H. Krauss (Kirby) of Hendersonville, Tenn.; granddaughter, Mallory VanDunse (Derek); great-granddaughter, Mila Kate VanDunse; grandson, Shawn Hager; sister, Peggy Inscoe Troutman of Taylorsville; and brothers, Boyce Galliher (Cathy) of Statesville and Tommy Galliher of Statesville.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, February 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 23, at 2 p.m. at McKendree UMC with Rev. Kevin Hager and Rev. Chad Nelson officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
