Mrs. Meldra Chetham Green, a beloved mother, passed away at Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorsville, N.C., on Monday morning, March 3, 2025, following an extended illness.

“Cookie,” as she was affectionately called, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on February 24, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Rose Chetham.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be truly missed by her family.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Greensboro.

Members of the family will assemble at the residence of her daughter, Katrina R. Green, 5515 Grapevine Court, Greensboro, N.C., at other times.
