Nancy Keeter Jordan, 86, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on April 19, 1938 in Spartanburg, S.C., to the late John William Keeter and Julia Ballard Keeter. Mrs. Jordan was a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School. She was the cafeteria manager for Huntersville Elementary. She served as president of Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Food Service Association and served two years as N.C. School Food Service District Director. She later owned and operated Steak and Hoagie Shop in Derita, N.C., for 10 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville, where she served as an assistant teacher for the Fellowship Class and was a member of the Sandy Underwood Prayer Group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hugh Jordan; son, Billy H. Jordan Jr.; sister, Betty Jean Pitt; and brothers, John H. Keeter, Harold K. Keeter, Donald L. Keeter, and William R. Keeter.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Crabtree and husband Samuel; daughter-in-law, Libby Jordan; sisters-in-law, Janice Keeter and Rachel Keeter; grandchildren, Benjamin Crabtree and Christopher Crabtree; great grandsons, Charlie and Tucker Crabtree; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. David Klinedinst and Rev. Hal Greene officiating. Burial will follow the service at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville.
