The Mooresville community is now a little less funny. On January 11, 2025, Phillip Algeron Alexander passed away at the age of 73 after a 15-year battle with lung cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil Alexander and Arlene Alexander; siblings, Nancy Alexander and Cress Alexander; and mother-in-law, Peg Cashion.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nina Alexander; children, Shea Alexander and Blair (Tommy) Knox; grandchildren, Maddox Alexander and Hallie Knox; siblings, Carolyn Alexander, Flynn Alexander and Frances Alexander; father-in-law, Bob Cashion; nieces Hayley and Hadley; and nephew Daniel.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Coddle Creek ARP Church with Rev. Andrew Shoger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Coddle Creek ARP Church, 2297 Coddle Creek Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115.
While he will be greatly missed, we rejoice that Phil is now with his Lord.
