Following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, Roseann “RoRo” Bennett Broy, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home by her Lord on January 27, 2025 at the age of 66.

Roseann devoted her life to raising her children and her fur babies. She thoroughly enjoyed going to baseball games and kart races to watch her son, Stephen, race.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Steve; children, Kimberley (Jason), Kristie (Tyler), and Stephen (Lizzy); and grandchildren, Kailey, Kaitlyn, Julia, Ryleigh, Sage, Hilton, and Peyton; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her birth mother, Evelyn Rupp; father, Herman Bennett; her parents, Anna and Peter Savone; mother-in-law, Evelyn Broy (George Magee); father-in-law, Louis Broy Jr.; brother, William Montalbano; sister-in-law, Tammy Dipietro; and her beloved Pug, Bristol.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her loving caregivers, Gail, Mike, Gloria, Vivian, Sheila, and Sunshine as well as Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, specifically Chaplain Steve, Susan, Ramona, Lisa, and Theresa, for their loving care and support throughout the last few years.
