William “Bill” George Buehler, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his home. He was born August 11, 1949, in Somerset County, N.J., to the late Frederick Buehler II and Mary Bradbury Buehler.

Bill retired as a lineman for Bell Atlantic after 35 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, coaching Pop Warner football, and playing cards with friends. Bill was always the “go to guy” to carve the Thanksgiving Day turkey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Dobrzelecki Buehler, and brother-in-law, Brian Spring.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Debra Custer; son, William “Billy” Buehler Jr.; brother, Frederick (Judy) L. Buehler III; sister, Barbara Spring; nieces, Pamela Morrisroe and Colleen Stoia (Marco); nephew, Timothy Spring (Erika); great-nephews, Brendan Morrisroe, William Morrisroe, Christian Spring, Logan Spring, and Jacob Carroll; and great-niece, Allison Stoia.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, April 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Mass will be on Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Road, Mooresville, N.C.
