Letter to the Editor: Troutman Council should hold town manager to higher standard

To the Editor:

As a resident of the Town of Troutman, I find Town Manager Ron Wyatt’s comments toward our elected officials at the end of the December 14 meeting to be another slap in the face. How dare this man, who reports to the elected officials who report to the citizens, berate the council! I believe his words and tone were entirely inappropriate for a professional manager. In my opinion, this manager has an anger management problem. This council should expect better from its manager.

If the council does not take immediate steps to discipline the town manager, then shame on them. The citizens of the Town of Troutman deserve better.
